Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks several active glaciers (Angel, Dome, Athabasca and Saskatchewan) (AB ev)
Dolomites Marmolada Glacier is the only large glacier in the Dolomites. Some experts have suggested that it "could disappear in 20-30 years from now. In 1960s, the glacier surface counted some 3.5 square kilometers. In 47 years it was down to 1.75. Furthermore, in 1980 the surface of the highest rocky crest was about 10 meters high. Today it has almost disappeared."
Durmitor National Park Debeli Namet Glacier on Šljeme. Considered the "southernmost but one" glacier in (Western?)Europe (the Southernmost is Calderone in the Appenines). Some argument as to whether it is a "Glacier" or a "snow slope".
French Austral Lands and Seas Glacier Cook
Glacier parks AB review "In the ice covered central plateau arc (are) over 100 named and as many unnamed glaciers." and "?the Steele glacier surged over 8 km. during the period 1966-68. This is believed to be unique" The parks also contain the Nebesna and Hubbard Glaciers.
Golden Mountains of Altai AB review - "The presence of the high number of undisturbed glaciers in the nominated area makes it significant as a site for assessing the effects of global warming in mountain ecosystems".

Heard and McDonald Islands "Over 80 percent of Heard Island is permanently covered by ice, and twelve major glaciers (and several minor) descend from Big Ben....Glaciers that formerly terminated at sea level in 1947 now terminate hundreds of metres inland." and "In 1947, Heard Island's glaciers covered 288 km2 or 79 percent of the island. By 1988 this had decreased by 11 percent to 257 km2. About half of this change occurred during the 1980s" Named glaciers include Gotley (the largest at 13kms long), Brown, Compton, Winston, Stephenson and Baudissin
Huanglong "Xuebaoding, or Snow Mountain Peak, is permanently snow-covered and features the easternmost glacier in China" (IUCN eval)
Huascaran National Park Said to contain 663 glaciers of which 27 above 6000 mtrs!
Ilulissat Icefjord AB review "The size of the site is 4,024 km2, comprising 3,199 km2 of glacier ice," The Icefjord is the sea mouth of Sermeq Kujalleq, one of the few glaciers through which the ice of the Greenland ice cap reaches the sea." ..."The annual calving through Ilulissat Icefjord of over 40 cu. km of ice is 10% of the production of the Greenland ice cap and more than any other glacier outside Antarctica"
Khangchendzonga National Park Several, including the 26 km long Zemu Glacier
Kilimanjaro National Park "The glaciers now measure about 0.8 square mile (2 square kilometers), down from 4.6 square miles (12 square kilometers) in 1912." There is considerable debate about whether/how long they will last.
Laponian Area Sarek NP contains over 200 glaciers, Stora Sjöfallet NP's "most prominent sights are the peaks and glaciers of the Akka range".
Lorentz National Park Meren and Carstenz glaciers and a small hanging glacier on the Carstenz Pyramid
Los Alerces National Park visibly shaped by past glaciations and numerous (shrinking) glaciers which continue to exist (AB ev)
Los Glaciares The NP name refrrs to the Andean icecap which feeds 47 large glaciers including Perito Moreno, Upsala and Spegazzini
Machu Picchu Salkantay Mountain and Glacier is within the WHS Southern boundaries
Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley Contains "rocky glaciers"
Mount Kenya Northey, Krapf, Gregory, Lewis, Diamond, Darwin, Forel, Heim, Tyndall, Cesar, Josef. (Not expected to last longer than another 30 years)
Nanda Devi and Valley of Flowers "The Inner Sanctuary .....and contains Nanda Devi itself and the two major glaciers flanking the peak, the Uttari (north) Rishi Glacier and the Dakkhni (south) Rishi Glacier. These are fed by the smaller Uttari Nanda Devi and Dakkhni Nanda Devi Glaciers respectively. The Outer Sanctuary..........is split in two by the Rishi Ganga; on the north side lies the Ramani Glacier,....and on the south lies the Trisul Glacier, flowing from the peak of the same name."
Olympic National Park "There are about 266 glaciers crowning the Olympics peaks; most of them are quite small in contrast to the great rivers of ice in Alaska... (They cover) approximately ten square miles"
Putorana Plateau "The modern glaciation of the Putorana, despite of good precondition for its development, is insignificant. In the northeastern and northern part of the mountains there have been noted only 22 small glaciers with the total area of only 2,5 sq.km."

Sangay National Park When inscribed in 1982 Tungurahgua did have a "small summit glacier" but this melted away after an increase in volcanic activity in 1999! (It is not known when Sangay's glacier disappeared)
Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries "the land is heavily ridged, forested and deeply dissected by the valleys and gorges of perennial rivers falling from the glaciated snow-covered peaks" (AB Eval) - Mt Siguniang
Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch AB Review "Aletsch Glacier, the largest (128km2), the longest (23km) and deepest (900m) in Europe. The Fiesch glacier is the third largest and second in length in Europe" and "the 23km length of the Aletsch glacier is longer than the ice streams flowing from the Everest/Lhotse massif with its 17km Khumbu glacier, 16km Rongpu glacier and 8km long Lhotse glacier"
Swiss Tectonic Arena Sardona Inludes the summit of Piz Sardona 3055m - "To the east of the summit you find the glacier "Sardona-Gletscher" and to the south the glacier "Glatscher dil Segnas""
Tajik National Park The Fedchenko Glacier, the largest valley glacier of the Eurasian Continent and the world's longest outside of the Polar Regions (OUV)

Three parallel rivers of Yunnan AB Review "The highest peak is Mt Kawagebo (6740 m), from which the southernmost glacier in China, Mingyongqia, descends to an altitude of 2700 m." ... This "is claimed to be the glacier descending to the lowest altitude for such a low latitude (28N) in the northern hemisphere"
Tongariro National Park Wiki states "Small glaciers are present on the summit of Mt. Ruapehu today.....Glaciers were last present on Tongariro during the Last Glacial Maximum"

West Norwegian Fjords Nomination file :- Present glaciers Numerous e.g Geirangerfjord - Flydalsbreen, Skjerdingsdalsbreen and Hestebreen) N?r?yfjord - Fresvikbreen(1500 ha) and Syrdalsbreen.
Western Caucasus IUCN review of 1999 - Contains "60 remnant glaciers (total area 18km2)". The unapproved proposed extenion of 2004 would have included the higher peaks of the W Caucasus.
Western Tien-Shan A number of the inscribed elements include contemporary glaciers e.g Aksu Jabagly - "The largest glaciers are situated in the basins of rivers: Zhabaglysu – Jabagly glacier (2.63 km2), Baldybrek – Shunkulduk glacier (2.56 km2), Aksu-Amansai glacier (1.02 km2).
